Visit to Sarek National Park

The arrival to Kvikkjokk. Were the road ends and the wilderness begins. Lovly area to start the trip.

Both enjoying the view and thinking of the big interference with nature that have accured just outside the national park. The big lake is a lake for hydroelectric power maid by humans. Its supposed to be ALOT smaller. The get alot of energy out of it however.

Werent abel to ID or get an ID on this one. Askert some experts but it was difficult for him aswell. I will proborly finde out the ID soner or latter.

The Reason for my visit: Eurasian elk (Alces alces)

I recently got to know that the American one (Alces americanus) and the European one (Alces alces) is 2 diffrent species! They have been separated quite recently... 2005 to be precise.

The trip ended quit rainy. The rainyest autumn in 18 years. Its supposed to raind 2000mm/year here so some rain you got to expect.

You are getting good saturdation in the rain wich can be good sometimes.
